SOUTH GLENS FALLS
Jeanette LaBarge, 80, passed away on October 18, 2014 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Glens Falls, NY on May 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Sara (LaLonde) Foy.

On February 23, 1952, Jeanette married Leonard LaBarge in New York City. They shared their love and friendship for 62 years before his passing 2012.

Jeanette was a communicant of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in South Glens Falls.

Her employment included travelling all over the northeast as a “secret shopper” and operating the Village Pizzeria restaurant in South Glens Falls with her husband. Most recently she enjoyed working for the Glens Falls Association for the Blind.

Jeanette loved garage sales, crossword puzzles, the ocean, reading and daisies.

Survivors include her children, Michelle McElrath of South Glens Falls, Gerard LaBarge, and his wife, Cynthia, of Hadley, and Linda Cortese, and her husband, Michael, of South Glens Falls, and Nicole Pinieri and her partner, Patrick Ryan, of Malta; her grandchildren, Edward LaBarge and his wife, Chong, Barbara LaBarge, Jacob LaBarge, and his wife, Abbey, and Tara McElrath-Zebadua; her great-grandchildren, Jacob LaBarge, Maddox Zebadua, and Gavin Zebadua; her sisters, Patricia Lane-Toole, Claire Allen-Gonyea, and Yvonne Cesta, and her husband, Armand; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral Service will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.

Jeanette’s family would like to thank the staff at the Terrace at the Glen and Glens Falls Hospital Tower 2 for their compassion and care.
