Obituary for Rita M. DeLisle (Terrio)
QUEENSBURY
Rita M. DeLisle, 93, joined her loving husband Gilbert on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
Born November 5, 1921, in Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Delas and Anna (Brunelle) Terrio.
On August 6, 1944, she married the love of her life, Gilbert DeLisle, at St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls, NY. They were married for 69 years before his passing.
Rita was employed for 15 years at the Zayre/Ames Department Store, but most enjoyed being around her family. She also enjoyed birdwatching, especially cardinals.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Rita was predeceased by her brothers, Hank and Bid Terrio.
Survivors include her sons, Louis DeLisle and his wife Mary, John DeLisle and his wife Judy, and Raymond DeLisle; her daughter, Ann Cutter, and her husband, Roger, her sister Jean Beaudion, 15 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Sister Donna M. Irvine, SSND, Chaplain at Glens Falls Hospital, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871. Memé’s pallbearers will be her grandsons and will include John DeLisle Jr., Jeff DeLisle, Jeremy DeLisle, Louis DeLisle Jr., Bradley DeLisle, Alex Augustson, and Breton DeLisle.
Memorial donations in Rita’s name may be made to the Glens Falls Association For the Blind, 144 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
