Jean Dexter, 89, of Argyle, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on September 28, 1925 in Lake George, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Myrtle (Ainsworth) Truax.
Besides her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Louis Dexter who passed away on October 25, 1974 as well as her brother, Richard Truax.
Left to Cherish her memories include her children, Craig Dexter and his wife Julie and Bonnie Dowmont and her husband John all of So. Carolina; Micki Carpenter of Glens Falls, Vickie Reed and her husband Bill of Bolton Landing, and Matthew Dexter of Lake George; her 12 grandchildren, Angel Murdock, Scott Dowmont, Randi Blair, Jamie Curtis, Cari Schlager, Stephanie Grey, Jeremy Bennett, Maggie Gillis, Logan, Nathan, Gabrielle and Samuel Dexter; 11 great grandchildren; her brother, Robert Truax of Hudson Falls and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
