Obituary for Anthony "Tony" Pliscofsky Jr.

Anthony “Tony” Pliscofsky Jr., 61, of Route 9 in South Glens Falls, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Glens Falls Hospital, on Saturday, February 21, 2015.

Born on December 27, 1953, in Ticonderoga NY, he was the son of, Joyce Pliscofsky (Suddard), and Anthony Pliscofsky Sr.

Tony grew up in Fort Edward NY, and attended Fort Edward Central School.

He enjoyed horse racing, playing cards, singing Elvis songs, as well as the OTB. Tony was considered to be a handyman, holding numerous jobs showcasing his talent.

Tony is predeceased by his grandparents, Eldie and Florence Suddard, as well as, Andrew and Stella Pliscofsky.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Joyce Pliscofsky (Suddard), of South Glens Falls; his father. Anthony Pliscofsky Sr. and his wife Eleanor, of Hadley Luzerne; his brothers, Ron Pliscofsky and his wife Gail, of Argyle, and Mike Pliscofsky, of Florida; his sisters, Lynn Flaven, and her husband, Rob, of Florida, and Gina Allen, of Fort Edward; his aunts, Carol Rabine, of Fort Edward, Darlene Light, of Fort Edward, and Stella Mildon, of Crown Point; his uncle, Bill Pliscofsky, and his wife Beatrice, of Fort Edward; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family may call on Thursday February 26, 2015 from 1-4p.m. at the American Legion in Hudson Falls, 72 Pearl Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839, with a Remembrance Service at 2p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor, officiating.

A committal service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
