Michael Russo, 62, of South Glens Falls passed away on March 9, 2015.
Born on February 8, 1953 in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Jane (Jakeway) Russo.
He attended and graduated from Glens Falls High School.
Mike was self-employed as a well skilled mason for many years in the surrounding area. He enjoyed working very much.
He really enjoyed being with his granddaughters, playing golf, watching football especially the Giants. He loved flirting with the ladies.
In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother James Russo.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Joelle Gavin and her significant other, Michael Kulls, his son, Wesley Keays and wife Erica, and his daughter, Jessica Russo, his two granddaughters; Paige Gavin and Hailey Clark, his sisters; Michelle Ross, Susan Russo and significant other Jim Krug, and Mary Teresa Russo, his brothers; Pat Russo, Fred Russo and wife Norene, and Pete Russo, Mark Russo and wife Mary along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 3-6pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803. To leave online condolences or to view Michael’s Book of Memories, please visit www.kilmerfuneralhome.com.
A Funeral Service will be conducted following the calling hours at 6pm with Regina Haag of Adirondack Friends Meeting, officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Glens Falls in the spring.
