Rosemarie (Brady) MacDuff, 85, passed away peacefully at The Stanton Nursing Home on Thursday, May 21, 2015.

Born in Troy, NY on June 11, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Toomey) Brady.

She attended Troy High School and was a long time member of St. Joseph’s Church in Fort Edward.

Rosemarie worked as a seamstress her whole life. She enjoyed sewing when not at work. She also enjoyed reading the bible, listening to Irish music, spending time with her family and more recently playing bingo with her friends at the nursing home.

Rosemarie was the chairlady at I.L.G.W.U.

Besides her parents, Rosemarie is predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Brady; her brothers, John Brady, James Brady and Thomas Brady.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Margaret Guild of Troy; her sons, Earl J. MacDuff (Barbara) of Hudson Falls, Raymond MacDuff (Susan) of Virginia, Jeremiah MacDuff of Thurman, William MacDuff (Heidi) of South Glens Falls, Paul MacDuff (Crystal) of Queensbury; her daughters, Earlene Doyle (John) of Hudson Falls, Anna Marchese (Wade) of Mountaintop, PA; 21 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Rosemarie’s request there will be no calling hours and the service will be at the convenience of the family. Right of committal will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 1p.m. at St. Joseph’s cemetery in Fort Edward with Rev. Guy A Childs officiating
