Jane Countryman Baker Moulton, 94, of South Glens Falls passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born October 4, 1920 in the family home on Seebers Lane, Town of Canajoharie to Elmer Lee and Louisa Lucinda (Palmatier) Countryman, the third of three sisters.

On June 22, 1940 she wed Richard D. Baker in the Reformed Church and they had one son, Dennis R. Baker.

July 30, 2001 she married Loren W. Moulton in the Glens Falls Church of the Good Shepard. They looked after each other for 14 years. After graduation from Canajoharie Central School and before moving to South Glens Falls, she held various clerical positions including Payroll Clerk at BeechNut Packing Co., the local Courier newspaper, Upstate Telephone Co., and finally at Canajoharie Central School. In South Glens Falls, she collected taxes for the Central School and was employed in the Town of Moreau offices for 31 years. The final 14 years as Deputy Town Clerk. She retired at age 74. She always told everyone she was truly blessed to have her family living close by from the time the grandchildren were young.

Jane enjoyed family gatherings, bus trips with the senior citizens, attending the Saratoga Flat Track and playing cards.

Besides her parents, Jane is predeceased by her first husband, Richard D. Baker; her two sisters, Alma Wohlgemuth and Priscilla Louison.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Loren Moulton; her son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Mary Baker; three grandchildren, Eric Baker of Wilton, James Baker and his wife Laura of Saratoga and Holly Baker of South Glens Falls; a great grandson, Charlie Richard Baker of Saratoga; a large step family including Evan and Sheryl Moulton, Celia and John Langey, Mollie and Scott Kingsley and Adele LaNew as well as 12 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m. on Saturday September 12, 2015 at the South Glens Falls United Methodist Church 15 Maplewood Parkway, South Glens Falls, NY 12803 with Rev. William Puckey, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
