Obituary for Marie Ann Fellows (Colyer)

ARGYLE

Marie A. (Colyer) Fellows, 72, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Washington Center surrounded by her family.

Born January 29, 1943 in New London, CT, she was the daughter of the late William and Jane (Lounsbury) Colyer.

Marie graduated in 1961 from Peekskill High School. In 1967, she married Paul Fellows in Peekskill.

Marie worked as a film librarian at Albany Medical Center for many years. She was an avid reader, and will be fondly remembered for chaperoning numerous field trips for her children while they were in school.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Paul Fellows, her children; William Fellows and his wife Merieme of Morocco, and Rodmund Fellows and his wife Kathy of Fort Edward, her grandchildren; Keighan and Ryane Fellows, as well as her sister Elizabeth Maloy and her husband Michael of Peekskill, NY and her brother Bryan Smith and his wife Elaine of Washingtonville, NY.

At Marie’s request there will be no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be private at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville,NY.
