Shirley Ann Bean, 67, passed away Thursday June 30, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.

Born December 13, 1948 she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Willette) Gregory.

She graduated from Newcomb Central School then attended Albany Business College

Shirley was a long time employee of Price Chopper in Glens Falls. She also was a military wife who was a waitress for many Military Officer’s clubs all over the world.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved playing with her family dogs Tess and Blue, going for walks, reading books, and sitting on the back deck enjoying the sunshine.

In addition to her parents Shirley was predeceased by two sisters, Diane Gregory and Cathleen Gregory.

Left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Deena Powers (Andy) and Tracy Campbell (Matt); brothers, David Gregory, Michael Gregory and Bryon Gregory; grandchildren, Rylee Ann, Corbin, Saylor, and Nolie; along with several nieces and nephews.

Deena and Tracy would like to send their sincerest thanks to the wonderful staff at Glens Falls Hospital and Albany Medical Center, especially the caring nurses Evelyn and Angela.

Those who have a Mother,
Cherish her with care,
For you never know the heartache,
Till you see her vacant chair.

At Shirley’s request there will be no calling hours.

Burial will be 11:00 am on July 9th at Newcomb Cemetery.
