Mary Ann (Hunt) Wood, 71, of Hudson St. passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Born in Albany, NY on August 20, 1945, she was the daughter of the late, John and Dorothy (Elms) Hunt.

Mary attended Glens Falls High School.

On April 13, 1967 she married the love of her life, Charles E. Wood in Glens Falls and they spent 49 loving years together.

Mary loved crafts, especially painting, quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed car rides with her husband and most of all loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her son, Brian Keith Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles E. Wood; her sons, Michael Allen (Kelly Stancliff) and Scott Wood (Sue Cutler); her daughter, Sherry Wood (Fred Tucker); her four sisters, Lois Morehouse, Marsha Karnes, Beverly Randall and Theresa King; her brother, John Hunt; Ten grandchildren; Several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
