Mary Ethel (Taylor) Flores, 93, of Fort Edward, passed away on Wednesday, February 01, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 22, 1923 in Augusta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John H. Taylor and Lillie Mae (Parker) Taylor Daly.

On January 22, 1945, she married the love of her life, Frank D. Flores Sr. in Aiken, SC.

Mary was employed at Scott paper in Fort Edward from 1954 to 1967 working in the cafeteria.

She enjoyed needle working, word puzzles, playing scratch off tickets and traveling to casinos. Most of all she enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She had a dream come true when her granddaughter Linda Law took her to Las Vegas.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is predeceased by two sons, Frank D. Flores Jr. and Charles Jordan; four brothers; four sisters; and one grandchild.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James Flores and his wife, Kathy of Queensbury and Michael Flores and his wife, Karen of Fort Edward; her daughters, Paula Sautter and her husband, George of the Town of Day and JoAnn Courville and her husband, Steven of Queensbury; her daughter in law, Linda Flores of Fort Edward; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call from 4-7 pm on Monday February 6, 2017 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary’s name can be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the High Peaks Hospice, Inc., 79 Glenwood Ave. Queensbury, NY 12804.
