Marshall D. Zeh, passed into his heavenly father’s arms on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with his wife, Sally D. Fish, of 27 years by his side as well as all his children and Sally’s sisters and brothers and family.

Born on July 10, 1944 in Schenectady, NY he was the son of the late, Gerald and Mildred (Dempster) Zeh.

Marshall graduated from Morrisville College. He also attended Oswego College where he received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Education and opened his own auto body business.

He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Germany, during the Vietnam War. He was also on the ship, ready to go into battle for the 5 day war. He was becoming a member of the American Legion Riders in Hudson Falls Post # 574.

Marshall was a member of the LASAR Search and Rescue for many years because of the love that he had for helping others in need.

He never failed to stop whatever he was doing, to help anyone.

He worked as an automotive teacher at BOCES in Hudson Falls for over 25 years. He had a lifetime of friendships with many students. He was very well respected and loved by everyone. He was a very hard worker. He built his and Sally’s home.

Marshall and Sally worshiped at Argyle Presbyterian Church. Marshall was a devoted Christian man. He made beautiful crosses out of nails. He read his Bible and praised God every day.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sally D. Fish; his children, Derek Zeh and his wife, Jennifer, Kristin Smith and her husband, John, Adam Zeh and his significant other, Karissa, and Daniel Zeh and his significant other, Krystyna; his grandchildren, Cole and Tucker Zeh, Thomas Smith, Gavin and Meaghan Zeh, Justin and Ayden Zeh; his brothers and sisters, Hollie Hearl, Susan Ruby and her husband, Joe, Lonson Fish and his wife, Bonnie, Carol Tripp and her husband, David, Helen Hathaway, John Fish and his wife, Monica, Robert Fish and his wife, Barb, Mary Fish and her partner, Alice; and many cousins and Aunt Ruth Bailey.

At Marshall’s request, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 1pm to 3pm at the American Legion Hudson Falls Post #574, 72 Pearl Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.

Burial with Military Honors will be conducted at 11:00am on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Whallons Bay Cemetery in Essex.. Arrangements are in the care of M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

Memorial donations can be made in Marshall’s name to any Veteran Association of one’s choice.
