Obituary for Lee E. Mihill

Greenwich

Lee E. Mihill, 84, of Greenwich, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on December 8, 1932 in Jay, NY, he was the son of the late Vernon and Irene (Peck) Mihill.

Lee worked at the Washington County Fair Grounds in Greenwich.

On Sept. 2, 1989 Lee married June L. Liddell at the Hibernian Hall of Glens Falls with the Rev. Gerald Myers, nephew to the Mihill’s. June passed away on Feb. 18, 2002.

Lee and his wife enjoyed square dancing at Dick Ladd’s`, also in his later years he loved to repair golf carts until he was done tinkering with them. He was also a member of the Durkeetown Baptist Church.

Besides his parents and his wife, he was also predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Ralph Mihill; his sisters, Marion Myers, Winifred Mihill, Marguerite Melbon and Hilda Rugge.

Left to cherish his memory includes his children, Betty Jean Mihill, Darlene Mihill, Lois Fink and husband Ed, Laura Scala and husband Kevin; 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

At Lee’s request there will be no calling hours.

Graveside Services will be conducted in the spring in Greenwich Cemetery.
