Obituary for John A. Sidusky

Durkeetown

John A. Sidusky, 72, of Durkeetown, passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at his home.

Born on November 22, 1945 in Granville , he was the son of Marjory (Baker) Sidusky and the late Arthur Sidusky.

John joined the Carpenters & Millwright Union, Local 229 in 1966. He retired from the union Local 291 in 2016 and received his 50-year plaque and gold membership card. He loved driving around the farm on his UTV, checking out what was going on and feeding his fish in pond. He enjoyed planting his garden with his many tomato plants, going to equipment auctions with his son, Jason and helping retrieve the new toys.

On Sept. 23, 1978, John Married Betsey Brennan at St. Joseph Church, Fort Edward.

Left to cherish his memory besides his wife of 38 years include his mother, his son, Jason D. Sidusky,
his brothers, James Sidusky and his wife Judy of Lake Luzerne, and Michael Sidusky and his wife Kathy of Fort Edward, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At John’s request, there will be no calling hours.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
