Robert F. Phillips, 89, of Woodard Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on May 27, 1928 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Glenn and Nina Katherine (Busch) Phillips.

Bob was a graduate of Hudson Falls School and worked at Ciba Geigy for over 36 years. He was a Army National Guard Veteran, loved the outdoors and was an avid reader and woodworker. He also enjoyed tinkering and repairing small engine.

Besides his parents, Bob was also predeceased by his brothers, Glenn Jr., John, and Lawrence Phillips.

On June 18, 1955 Bob married Marilyn Mattison at the First Baptist Church of Hudson Falls.

Left to cherish his memory besides his wife of 62 years include his son, Raymond Phillips(Lynelle) of Argyle, his daughter, Marie Lewis (Michael) of Warrensburg; grandchildren, Trevor Lewis (Heather), Cameron Lewis (Jessie) Devin Hazelton (Tyler); great grandchildren, Noah and Ruby Hazelton, two special nieces, Rosalie Thompson and Betty Randolph as well as several other nieces, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
