Carl Lee “Cajun” Roy, 60, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at his home.

Born on March 19, 1957 in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Lenic and Nolia (Carette) Roy.

On September 25, 1993 Carl married Cheryl Ann Jordan in the City of Glens Falls.

Carl worked for many years as a construction worker and welder for C&F Construction in Glens Falls.

He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, building things and watching Cops on TV. Carl loved socializing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by his brothers, Lenic Roy Jr., Billy Roy and Jerry; his brother-in-law, William Don Cobb; his sister-in-law, Vickie Roy; his father-in-law, Charles Jordan; and his mother-in-law, Joan Clemons.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Cheryl; his sons, Timothy and Scott Robbins of Glens Falls; his daughter, Brandy Roy of South Glens Falls; his grandson, Kymani Beckwith of Glens Falls; his sisters, Dolores Cobb of Lafayette, LA, Dorothy “Toppie” Menard and her husband, Randy of Milton, LA; his sister-in-law, Mary Jordan of Fort Edward; his brother, Ricky Roy and his wife, Becky of Lafayette, LA; his brother-in-law’s, Kevin Jordan and his wife, Katherine of Ballston Spa, Charles Jordan of Fort Edward, William Jordan of Glens Falls and James Jordan of Fort Edward; and twenty one nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
