Obituary for Stanley E. Wildes

Stanley E. Wildes
On March 1st, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson’s, Stanley Ernest Wildes, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son of a Carpenter passed into Glory. We imagine a glorious scene as he was met by his Lord and Savior along with many friends and family who have gone before him.

Born in Providence Rhode Island on February 15, 1942. He is preceeded in death by his parents Ludolph and Rosa Elizabeth (Leach) Wildes, and his brother Wayne Wildes. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years Nancy Anita (Blanchard), children Jonathan and Carman Wildes, Matthew and Ruby Wildes, Hannah and Beaver Wildes-Trumble, Claudia Joy Wildes, and his nine grandchildren whom he adored, Eden, Josiah, Victoria, Olivia, Kristina, Matthias, Austin, Hannah, and Rose and many dear family friends. He is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Gladu and Judy Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Stanley’s legacy will forever be celebrated by his family. He was a faithful and loving husband, amazing dad and grandfather, Air Force Veteran, mentor, craftsman, gardener, student of The Word, carpenter, friend to all animals, and cared deeply that many come to know His Lord and Savior.

Per Stan’s wishes there will be no visitation.

He will be buried with Military Honors on Tuesday, March 6, at 11:00 am, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd Schuylerville 12871.
