Obituary for Tanis Marie Dangelico (Inglee)

Tanis Marie  Dangelico (Inglee)
Tanis Dangelico, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born January 31, 1925 in Hudson Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Hazel (Stokes) Inglee.

Tanis attended Hudson Falls Schools. She was employed at Decora as a shift supervisor, and also worked at the Fort Edward School District as a lunch and recess aide for many years.

Tanis loved to play Bingo and often traveled to Canada to play there with her friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii where she had visited several times. She was an avid Elvis fan and also enjoyed Rat Pack era music. She loved sitting by the pool and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Tanis was predeceased by her brother John Inglee, her sister Phyllis Dalessandro, and many in-laws.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Linda Quattrocchi and her husband Edward, Michael Dangelico and his wife Cynthia, Antoinette Toomey and her husband Jack, and Gina Graham and her husband Patrick, her grandchildren; Michael Lee and his wife Stacey, Christopher Lee and his wife Anne, Alicia D’Angelico, Ashley Sawyer and her husband Shannon, Page Toomey, Melissa Townsend and her husband Pete, Shannon Belanger and her husband Chad, and Patrick Graham, her sisters-in-law Laura Smith and Dorothy Sottile, as well as nine great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-7pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 82 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY 12828.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church, 164 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY.

The Rite of Committal will be 12 noon Friday, May 11, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fort Edward.

Memorial donations in Tanis’s name can be made to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second Floor, Princeton, NJ, 08540, or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mr. Fisher (Kevin) at Fort Hudson, and to the staff at Tower 2, and to Drs. Tedesco and Mihindu for their care and compassion.
