Jerry was one of the nicest people I ever knew. We both were Marines and had a great bond and friendship that lasted for years. I know with Laula"s passing it would be tough on him, but he marched on like the man's man that he was. My wife and I miss sitting with them at the Birthday Balls and our visits back to Glens Falls from N.C. that would bring us to The Park Café, in Hudson Falls for lunch with the two of them. We loved them both and smile knowing they are together again as they should be. You rarely see the true love that radiated from them for each other. The last time I talked to your dad was on the Marine Corps birthday, 2013. I called him every Nov. 10th,and that year before I wished him a happy birthday, I played the M.C. Hymn on the harmonica for him. He got a big kick out of that. I am so sorry for your loss, he was one of a kind.
