The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Norma Inman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Buick

Aunt Norma lived with me,my brother David, and my mom Jean(her sister)in her parents old home in Hartford. My father was stationed in Thailand during the VietNam war and Norma helped my mother take care of us. One day Norma brought home a two door blue Buick Skylark and she was excited to drive it. She loved hopping in it and chasing after the town firetruck when the siren went off. She would put me in her lap and she would work the gas and brake pedals and I would steer the car as we drove down the back roads and up our long driveway! She turned me on to cars and when I was old enough I bought a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. She tried her best to fill my father's spot while he was overseas and I will never forget the times we had in that old house.
