Condolence: Sally, Ellen and all of our Family:

Aunt Nan, always made us feel at home when we often visited Granville growing-up.
I remember fondly many weekends by the pool, having a Barbeque or a Thanksgiving dinner in the dining room with all around. She was a quiet peace-maker in our family. She helped to broaden our lives by welcoming students from Italy into her home and sharing those cultural exchanges with all of her extended family.

She will be missed, and now she can rest from all the physical aliments she dealt with the last few years. She loved her independence, and now once more is free again of the pains of the earth.

I offer my heart-felt condolences on this St. Patrick’s day, celebrating our Irish heritage from our mothers’ family yet, not forgetting those other days of the year when we celebrate our Italian heritage. We truly are a product of both cultures and we can thank our Irish mothers’ for celebrating both.
