Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Greenough can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Lori and family,
My sincere condolences to your family. I worked with John at Washington County Dispatch. He always had a smile on his face, and was very helpful to the people we tried to help in emergency situations. I am sure you will miss him a lot. Praying for you all at this time of terrible stress.

Condolence From: Pastor Bob Long
Condolence: To Lori and family,
We are never ready for the passing of one we love deeply, especially when death comes very early in life. I empathize with you as you both grieve the loss which you know so personally and celebrate the fullness of life which John lived. Through the pain of the moment I celebrate with you the visions and dreams which John followed, the aspirations and goals which he fulfilled, the caring love with which he embraced all of you and those in congregations and communities where you lived, the joy which he brought in many ways to each and all of you, the hope and positive expression of blessing which he showered on many and the many ways in which his gifts have blessed us all.
Continue in the confidence that you are each and all within the care of The One who cares for us more than all others together. Cry and laugh as you are moved: they both help us accept and process so that the loss becomes more gentle and the celebration more full. Though it may not seem such at the moment, God's love continually surrounds and embraces you...and will heal.
In the fullness of Shalom, Bob Long
