Dad I am heart broken we will not be able to hunt/fish together for a long time. I know you are in a better place surrounded by loving family and friends. We who are still here will miss your greatly every day. I must learn to forge on with a piece of my heart missing. That's okay, your example and courage to combat your handicap gave us the inspiration to handle anything life can/will throw our way and overcome. Your legacy is vast and far reaching. A small farm in upstate NY a carpenter was born, but who could have know the impact you would make. Air Force veteran, father, grand father, mentor, fishing/hunting sportsman. Your mark is what you leave behind on your family and friends...I am now missing my best friend, but know I gained a guardian angel who has my back. As we gather for your last retreat, please watch from above as your family and friends come together to celebrate your life and the amazing impact you had on all our lives.
